Alignment Cams

Alignment Cam Note

All Nissan Titans, Armadas, Xterras, Frontiers and Pathfinders built AFTER 2005 do NOT come from Nissan equipped with lower a-arm bolts with offset/ eccentric washers (cam bolts) that allow adjustment of CASTER or CAMBER. Because lifting and/or lowering your truck will affect the vehicle’s caster and camber, you may need to install these bolts to allow for the needed adjustment for proper wheel alignment if you have a Nissan truck or SUV built after 2005.

All Nissan trucks still retain the ability to adjust TOE (parallelism of the tires). TOE is the most important of all the three and if this is off, it will adversely affect the other adjustments. TOE adjustments are needed any time the truck’s ride height is changed more than about ¾ inch. Adding these bolts will never hurt performance or reliability in any way; the only negative is the initial expense.
