Description
If your doing a Titan swap on you Xterra or Frontier, you will need to connect the front wheels to the differential somehow. There are 2 options;1, use a Titan diff with the Titan axles/inner CV's. This is a great option as the prices are not too high for the parts used and the Titan diff (#205) is about 2x stronger than the #180 (stock) diff. Probelm is that the Titan diff only comes in one matching gear option to the automatic trans Off-Road/Nismo/Pro4x models. If you have a 6sp or any other model, the titan diff will bolt in, but the gear ratios wont match. That is what these axle shafts are for. These offer the same inner and outer splines as stock but are the required length for the Titan a-arms. These are made from 4340 chormoly and heat treated to better-than-factory specs and include a vinyl coating to prevent nicks and cracks. These do require you to disassemble the stock shafts...and it's a messy job. Included, but not shown, are new outer CV clamps, inners just use hose clamps.
