These replace the trouble-some stock and stock-style ball joint outer tie rod ends with our Heim design. These are designed to offer a bit more angle and of course, no more torn boots and grease everywhere. These are a direct replacement but can be made to any length to accommodate wider control arms (long travel) with no tie rod spacers. We use a 1026 DOM and machine the threads into the thick walled tube, there are no welds to fail. We machine both ends with right-hand threads so they will never come loose and alignment is done just like factory. We use domestically made FK teflon-lined heims and 17-4 stainless spacers. The tapered spacer fits tightly into the ball joint hole and then into the heim, there is no shear load on the bolt, the bolts simply holds everything together. These are sold as a pair, one order contains both right and left. We build these to order, we are NOT Amazon, please allow for a couple days to ship. We ship these unplated, the sleeves are bare. but you can paint them any color you'd like. The Heims are zinc plated with a stainless ball.
Note; we have been building these for the Nissan community for about 15 years and most bearings last about 7-10 years...some longer. The heims we use can be sourced through most good chassis shops and are NOT a custom part....we do this so you have options should you need a replacement down the road.
