These are designed to compliment our outer tie rods but can be used with the stock or aftermarket ball joints. We machine these for a close fit on the inner end w a generous radius to prevent and marring on the inner tie rod. These do cover the inner adjusting hex and a simple pair of pliers can be used under the boot to adjust if more than hand force is needed. We ship these bare, so you may want to paint them. We offer these in both 15mm and 16mm to cover all the late-model tie rods. These are sold as a pair. 03-09 FJ and 4runner should be 15, 05-current Tacoma and 2010+ 4runner and FJ should be 16mm. You can easily measure your current thread diameter before ordering.
